We enjoyed being on the quiet side of the island but close to Bar Harbor. The blueberry muffins come warm every morning and the beds were pretty comfortable. It is a smaller space, but is perfect for those just looking for a space to sleep and explore the island!

We loved Jim and Ginnys place because it was close to main attractions but off the beaten path in a quieter location of Bernard which we LOVED! The space is very cozy and comfy but with room to spread out. If you need anything, just ask! We say the most amazing sunset per their suggestion and another night the clearest sky with the most stars we had ever seen. They provide fresh blueberry muffins and delicious fruit every morning. I would highly recommend staying with Jim and Ginny!

Ginny and Jim’s place was cute and charming. It’s located on the quiet side of the island, which was a nice home base for hiking in Acadia. Everything was very clean and in good condition. There was a personalized welcome sign when we arrived, and we had delicious homemade blueberry muffins delivered to our door every morning. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Overall, a very friendly and enjoyable experience. The second-floor apartment we stayed in with our daughter was roomy and comfortable with locally made quilts and art that I found adorable. Fresh-baked homemade blueberry muffins were definitely a bonus!
