I loved it here! I felt very comfortable from day 1, like home away from home. Veronica gave me a very warm welcome when I arrived and she was adorable throughout my stay! I really appreciated the fortnightly cleaning with change of towels and bedsheets and I even learnt a few words of Spanish from Yuli the housekeeper. The apartment is clean and looks as good as the photos. I liked the view of the trees through the windows, felt like I was in my own jungle oasis! The bars and restaurants are within walking distance but walking up the hill to get back was a workout! There are a lot of dogs in the area so I did hear some barking but it didn’t really bother me too much. Apart from the dogs and a couple of parties in nearby buildings it was quiet most of the time so I was happy working from there and never lost sleep. I was grateful for the security and as a solo female traveller I felt safe there. I’m so glad I stayed here and I would definitely consider rebooking if/when I’m back.

Overall a good place to stay. Pros The complex is stunning, very safe, and private. The staff that work the complex are friendly and inviting. Veronica and Lucas are responsive and kind. The place is a good size, enough for a couple, and it looks like the photos. Cons It can get noisy at times for several reasons: Veronica and Lucas live upstairs with a dog so you’ll hear them and the people they have over clearly. There are a lot of beautiful trees on the complex but it also means birds; In the early morning for around 45 minutes the birds are very active and you will certainly hear them. There’s a complex nearby that has started to allow party focused guests. Sometimes on the weekends they will party until the morning and you can hear them. The noise was enough to lose sleep or peace at times. Suggestion If you’re a couple or a solo female and you don’t mind some noise this is a beautiful and extremely safe place to stay. There are EXTREMELY strict guest rules so solo males be aware.

I had a great long stay here! The area is near Provenza where lot of great restaurants and social events happen. The room was as described and I especially loved getting to hear the birds chirping in the morning. The difficulty for me was not being allowed visitors, felt a bit lonely after a bit of time. Working from home at times was a bit difficult as well during the mornings, there are lots of dogs in the area and they tend to bark for some time. The security was too notch and made some friend with them, super welcoming people. Veronica and Lucas are very down to earth people and we’re amazing throughout. They are the kind people you could trust through and through! Overall, I would recommend this stay if you’re not looking for something over the top lavish and guaranteed safety!

El apartamento es maravilloso y probablemente la mejor opción que puedes encontrar en Medellín. Desafortunadamente, no pude mudarme hasta unas semanas después debido a unos daños de agua, pero después pasé cuatro meses allá. Vero y Lucas son unos anfitriones super agradables y serviciales. La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de Provenza y con muchos supermercados alrededor y no se escucha el ruido de la ciudad. También me gustaría destacar el hermoso jardín con piscina y la seguridad en la instalacion. El piso tiene todo lo necesario y la pequeña cocina es sin duda suficiente para una persona. Las únicas dos pequeñas críticas que tengo son que se oyen los ruidos del piso de arriba (aún así es súper tranquilo comparado con otras opciones en Medellín) y no me gustó el hecho de que no se permiten huéspedes, lo cual es un poco molesto especialmente para una estancia de larga duración como la mía. Pero en general, recomiendo este piso y puedo garantizar que te sentirás como en casa.
