Stunning place once you locate it. Look for a closed green gate. I stayed here for 4 days. Loved every minute of my stay! Private! Views of volcano was ever changing with the time of day. Loved the night time sounds. There are fireflies, frogs, you can hear holler monkeys & cattle in the distance. In the morning I saw a pair of green parrots, hummingbirds. Highlights that are close by: 1968 hike, The Springs Resort (day pass), horse back riding, La Fortuna waterfall. Please have colones with you for gas station and do not give them your credit card.

Loved our stay at Jimmy’s airbnb. It was private, clean, peaceful and had a beautiful view of the volcano. We were less than a minute from Tabacon Springs, there were local restaurants nearby and about 10-15 min into La Fortuna town. They helped us set up zip line and hike to La Fortuna waterfall with AMA and helped set us up for a massage at a local spa. Very responsive and helpful! Enjoyed our time here! Would visit again.

This was an excellent stay overall but the view really put it over the edge as one of the most incredible stays I’ve ever had on Airbnb. Comfy bed, extremely clean, and had your basic hotel-stay type things. Very communicative host. Would recommend this place again and again.

One of the best Airbnb’s I ever stayed at. Great views and extremely private. Would highly recommend staying here over any hotel/resorts in La Fortuna area. Just keep in mind it’s a 10-15 minute drive from the downtown area, so you will need to drive/uber there for food or drinks.
