The house and patio are as they appear in the photos: a beautiful house, beautiful pool, beautiful beach. I would give this Airbnb 4 stars, though it could easily be 5 stars with some TLC. The house is about 20 minutes outside of Progreso, on a quiet and secluded strip of beach. There isn’t any security and the back of the house is glass and fairly exposed to whomever might pass by. Very few people passed by when we were there. Some other houses in the area had tall fences around the property. The inside needs a little TLC — some fresh paint, some comfortable furniture, we had tiny bugs in our bed (not sure if they were little ants or bedbugs) and there were some cans of raid in various places throughout the house. The shower and sink water had a significant sulfur / sewage smell, so we used them as little as possible, and it made us more eager to leave than we might have otherwise been.

Es una casa muy bonita, muy grande, cómoda, bien mantenida,limpia, bien equipada en una playa preciosa y tranquila. Mi familia y yo, siete miembros adultos, todos disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia. Hay lugares muy cómodos para convivir: la cocina, el comedor, la sala, la terraza, la piscina y la playa. Todos fueron bellos y cómodos para disfrutar todos juntos: platicando, jugando, cocinando. Pero también las recámaras son cómodas y bellas para descansar y pasar tiempo separados. Las vistas al mar son muy bellas y relajantes, pero también la vista hacia las dunas. La playa es preciosa para caminar al amanecer y al atardecer. Toda mi familia quedó muy satisfecha y todos pensamos que definitivamente sí regresaríamos a pasar otras vacaciones ahí. Gracias Noemí por poner tu casa a nuestra disposición, la disfrutamos mucho.

This place is beautiful and well taken care of. Any issue you have the host will help you with. Small example- the blender broke that we used all the time. The host drove out and gave us a new one. Anything we needed the host really helped us. Place is clean and even better than photos.
