Great location, close to the beach! House was clean and had all that we needed for the week. We enjoyed our stay.
I paid to stay at a home on the canal inside of Destin Harbor off Vera Cruz but the AC at the house was broken. Apparently it was being serviced but the house was rented to us anyway. I had transported my boat to the dock at the house from my marina 20 miles away and then learned that the AC system was broken and 82 degrees inside. The air handler closet was full of mold and the drywall ceiling was collapsing under the air handler. Management moved us to a different home, not on the canal but it had a pool. The pool was dirty and couldn't use for the first day there and the filter wasn't working so the pool was dirty again the next morning. For what we paid to stay on the canal and have the convenience of having our boat behind the house on the water ready to go, the other house that we were moved into was not worth the same price. Not a pleasant trip to Destin this time around.
Celebrated one of our girlfriends getting married. Actually had to switch from another rental because of an air problem. This place was perfect. Loved the pool and the closeness to the beach. Had a problem with the code to get in not working, and it was promptly fixed.
