This North Myrtle Beach, SC rental house, Carolina Sunrise, boasts of seven bedrooms, seven baths and an oceanfront view. One of the main reasons I booked this house was because of the hot tub. After we got there they told me it has not worked in a couple of months. No can opener in the kitchen no pot holders. The internet was not working called Elliott and they were great about trying to get it working unfortunately after calling for 3 days in a row about it not working I was done with calling them. Housekeeping really needs to clean better especially under the beds . Found a broken light bulb under one of the kids beds. I would not recommend this house for the price I paid

Location is great but condition and overall experience was NOT. Lots of space for activities and games for our group of 12. But the list of problems is long. And we spent HOURS calling, waiting on hold, talking with repairmen, and negotiating with the host. For example: Kitchenware is old, degraded, mismatched. Eight chairs at a table are very old and literally coming apart (handyman came for them, thankfully). Upstairs HVAC didn’t heat but was blowing cold air, day and night, with below freezing weather—was repaired on day 3. An otherwise nice tankless water heater is mounted outside the house so froze up repeatedly. We called the host’s answering service but waited hours for a reply. Luckily we had a plumber in our group and could clear and reboot it ourselves as needed. There were many burned out bulbs and some light fixtures and switches just don’t work. Blinds don’t work. Etc. All this, and more, was wrong before check in. Host did compensate us, but not what was warranted here.
