Great place! Very clean with a super organized kitchen with everything you need. Comfortable beds and plenty of space for our family of four. Right off the main road and only a ten or fifteen minute drive to Saint Joseph. Really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay at The Retreat! Deirdre was a great host! The house is exactly as it is described. It’s very spacious, welcoming, and was spotless. The decor and art were awesome and fun to look at. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances are top notch. We cooked multiple meals and had all the cookware we needed. The living room was where we spent most of our time. Plenty of seating with a large TV. The pellet heater was perfect at nights when the temperature dropped. The bathroom was well stocked with many essentials. All three memory foam mattresses were very comfortable and there were plenty of linens. There are plenty of games. The location is minutes from multiple state parks and a few miles from an Aldi and Meijer. We will absolutely be staying here again. We’re already planning on another trip up there when it’s warmer to enjoy the deck and back yard.

We had a great stay; Deirdre was easy to get in touch with and her place was clean and nicely decorated.; most everything appears to be brand new. The best part of the house is the vaulted living room that looks out onto the back yard/woods. Although the house is on a busy road (busy country not busy city), the house is quiet and feels like you are alone in the woods. We are definitely going back soon!
