We booked this rental one full year in advance for a family gathering of 6 adults. Julian and his co-hosts were responsive and friendly in our pre-arrival communications and the house was easy to find in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Upon arrival, though, we were highly disappointed: - No clean linens on one of the beds. We found a bag of dirty linens and had to wash them so we could make the bed! Ugh. - Zero towels in one bathroom, and a single hand towel in the other bathroom. We had to call Julian to get towels brought to the house. - Exactly 6 dinner plates and 6 drinking glasses in the "stocked" kitchen. Since there were 6 of us, we had to wash every single plate and glass between every use. - Zero clothes hangers in any of the closets. - No ice trays or an ice maker. Had to go buy a bag of ice. - No fire pit as listed in the amenities. The "patio furniture" was 2 iron chairs. All in all, a tough stay for 6 adults. It lacked the amenities of a home OR a hotel.

Place matched description and was quiet and quaint. But the price missed the mark due to several important items. Upon arrival, the dishes were left in the dishwasher (unsure whether they were clean, so we washed them again). The sponge was not fresh (opened/used). The kitchen floors were crumby, even though they requested no shoes in the house. I had to ask them to bring additional towels, since there wasn’t enough provided for our party. There was only (1) almost empty tissue box in the house and my family has allergies during this time of year. There was no hand soap or toiletries in the bathrooms. Nor were there wastebaskets, so bring some plastic bags for restroom garbage and be prepared to go shopping at a nearby store for those essentials. If you plan to do laundry, you’ll need to bring detergent/softener as well. Sadly, we paid more for this place than we would have at a hotel and had to go out and buy essentials - not the best use of our time or money while on vacation.

We have stayed here a few times and love this house. The big screen in the converted garage is amazing. The rest of the house is great as well. Will stay here again!
