Amazing place at the best location, must visit

This is my second time at this location. I hate that I had to leave. It feels so comfortable and the beach is so close. Lorenzo is one of the nicest and kindest host. He is very attentive and will answer all of your questions.

Although the apartment itself was decent & very spacious, although a bit worn & weathered. The kitchen is well stocked and we got plenty of towels. I was disturbed to see the massive remodeling/construction taking place at this facility. The large pool that the balcony faced was empty with just yellow tape, anyone could slip and fall. This place does have a smaller pool near the beach and a restaurant on the beach which is lovely. However, a lot of the grounds were being dug up and the building number was missing so it took us awhile to find the place. There was also an awful smell of RAW SEWAGE both outside & when running water in the unit, needles to say we didn’t shower. Both of these issues create an unsafe and unsanitary condition which is very troubling. Also, The shared bathroom doesn’t drain well (sink or tub). You will be approached constantly on the beach & surrounding area by sellers offering excursions, etc. I think they are cheaper and better options in Punta Cana.

I don't usually leave bad reviews. This is my first bad review for Airbnb The good thing was Lorenzo was very responsive but there's so much he needs to do to make the place more enjoyable. First thing we noticed. We killed lots of cockroaches,it was gross. The building is under construction,this need to be said in the description so people can decide if they want to rent it or not. It was very loud, workers started working very early every morning and it was hard to sleep, when I go to vacation I want to be able to sleep after a long day outside. outlets in the kitchen didn't work so we couldn't use them . The water pump didn't work. when we got to the Airbnb at 3:30 the cleaning person was still cleaning and had towels hanging outside to dry with a fan.Check in is at 3 pm the place should be clean when guests check in. Not enough towels for 4 people,we asked Lorenzo for more and he did bring 4 more. This place has potential and is big,but Lorenzo has to work on some things.
