A few blocks from the center of the town, from the main road north leading to the town of Quiroga and further to Morelia, the capital of the state of Michocacan, is another major road that goes around this south end of Lake Patzcuaro. This street is Aristeo Mercado. This street ends a few block east of the main road to Quiroga, but continues around the southern side of the lake.
At the end of the town, there is a short cobbled stone road up the gentle hillside. This road ontinues to a new housing development undr construction, but at the end of the cobbled stone road a road up the gentle hill is Tariaqueri, There is a house at the corner, and further up is Eclipse House, your destination.

Although the road to Eclipse House has been assigned a name, the cottage sits just outside the town limits, but the road is not marked and not known to taxi drivers. and will not how to get there without directions. Therefor renting a car in Morelia, 45 minutes north of Tzintzuntzan is recommended. The center of town with its market is a brisk walk away from the cottage.
