I really lucked out finding Betsy's place at the last minute when so many other Airbnbs in Maine were booked for the eclipse. It's a comfortable and cozy little place just big enough for our needs, with windows and doors framing one end of a lake. So pretty, especially in early morning light. Betsy and Dan were kind and helpful, especially because a disability had made walking difficult for me. Dan even carried our luggage for us down the path to the lakeside entrance. I wouldn't hesitate to come back and would recommend this place to anyone seeking a superior guest experience in Oakland, Maine.

We loved our stay. Cute, clean apartment with many items such as coffee, water, a hair dryer, linens (some places do not supply linens and you have to rent them from a service). Best of all quiet and peaceful! We loved waking up on the lake, beautiful views from the living room/kitchen as well as the bedroom. Morning coffee on the patio was wonderful and so relaxing. Hope to go back.

The location was beautiful, with views straight over the water even from bed. The photos don't really do it justice. It comes with some quirks typical for a lake-side "camp" that might surprise some city dwellers, but nothing truly out of the ordinary for the type of accommodation. The apartment was spotlessly clean, has a full kitchen, and included simple amenities like, coffee, bottled water, and a hair dryer. Would go back.

The apartment was cute and clean. We stayed here to be close to a camp in Smithfield for visiting day and it was perfect for that. There was no a/c but that was an oversight on our part. The apartment is right on the lake and it’s a pretty place to wake up to. Betsy had outdoor seating outside of the apartment- perfect for morning coffee. She was very nice and clearly takes pride in her sweet space.
