The place was exactly as described in the pictures and description. Ane went out of her way to assist us with a charger and transport to town after some vehicle issues. Perfectly clean, nice amenities. Would recommend.

Tranquil and perfect for a romantic getaway. The hot tub works great and the netting on the deck has comfortable pillows for the best stargazing. A great extra was the little pizza oven for the braai. So definitely pack pizza goodies! We had a few small issues on our first day, but the host is responsive and quickly fixed any problems. We will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Vrolikheid Landgoed. The cabin was great, very neat and stocked with just everything you'd need for a cosy stay. The views are just sublime! The outdoor bathtub was an awesome experience. Hosts were a pleasure to communicate with and made sure all our needs were met. Highly recommended!

Alles in allem waren wir zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt. Die Hütte ist gut durchdacht und war sehr sauber. Es war aber auch nicht das Non Plus Ultra für uns. Da haben wir in Südafrika einfach bessere Unterkünfte zu besseren Preisen erlebt. Es werden wohl noch weitere Hütten gebaut, sodass man bei der Ankunft an einer Baustelle vorbei fährt. Insgesamt handelt es sich nicht um einen schnuckeligen Bauernhof, da hatten wir etwas mehr Idylle erwartet. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war etwas holprig, was aber wohl den Stromausfällen geschuldet war und wofür sich diese auch entschuldigten (allerdings erst nachdem wir fehlende Informationen zum Check In bemängelt hatten). Daher alles in allem nur 4/5.
