The experience at Malcolm's home exceeded all expectations. From the spacious balcony overlooking the vibrant streets of Fitzroy to the well-equipped gourmet kitchen, every detail was impeccable. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to tram lines and a plethora of cafes, boutiques, and parks just steps away. The apartment was extremely clean and had everything needed for the stay and more. Malcolm's attention to detail was evident throughout our stay, from the seamless check-in process to the thoughtful recommendations, check-in on us and responsive replies. I would definitely recommend Malcolm's place and will reach out to him again once my parents come back to visit so that they can stay at his apartment again. Thank you for sharing your home with my parents Malcolm, they had the best time!
Great location - near the tram lines to get to cbd, and super close to the bar / cafe / restaurant scene in Fitzroy. Light and comfortable apartment.
My husband and I spent a month in this spacious apartment (really liked all the windows) is a few blocks from the beautiful Carlton Gardens. The apartment is two blocks from a nice Coles market and many restaurants and specialty shops in downtown Fitzroy. The Melbourne Museum is a must. Went to Smith & Daughters for my birthday. Great restaurant...check it out. So many great free museums in downtown Melbourne....we walked everywhere. Beautiful city. Nice Apartment
We loved staying in Malcolms apartment! The location is perfect and you’ve got everything you need to feel right at home. Malcolm’s very friendly and always easy to reach out to. Thanks a lot for sharing your cozy place with us!
Malcolm's apartment feels immediately like a warm home. It's cosy, well-appointed and welcoming, and has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed in comfy and the building is good too. There was nothing in the apartment that I missed. Malcolm is extremely responsive and proactive, and the check in and check out were all smooth. There is one important point, however. The apartment is close to a very noisy row of bars, and one in particular often stays open very late with loud music and patrons. I know that this is being looked at by Malcolm, and hopefully will get sorted out, but as of July 2023 if you are light sleeper you will probably find it disturbing. I don't say this as a criticism, more just factual info to future guests. If noise doesn't bother you, or you can sleep through a hurricane, then I would not hesitate in recommending this beautiful apartment.

I would recommend Rathdowne St, Carlton (10 mins walk) for its atmospheric tree lined Victorian era village shops and restaurants (a short hop from the Italian precinct Lygon St). For art house movie buffs there is Nova Cinema in Lygon Plaza (half price on Mondays). The nearby Carlton gardens houses the modern Melbourne museum, and the historic 19th century Royal Exhibition building. All these are a 5-10min stroll away.
Tram #96 (Nicholson St) is 100 metres or Tram #11 (Brunswick St) is 200 metres away. The city centre is about 20 mins easy stroll through Carlton Gardens. The streets are wide and many have bicycle lanes.
There are E scooters (Lime and Neuron). Also ride share cars (Uber, Didi)
