awful experience. we were asked check in time in advance, we said 3.30 to 4pm. arrived 3.30pm it was all locked up, we were given 2 phone numbers neither were answering. Dropped messages via text, phoned Airbnb they also tried contacting repeatedly with no reply. We were at the point of heading home as it was cold, windy and stormy out when someone called back, gone 5pm. someone had just arrived, they let us in but said they had been told we were arriving later by mistake, and later the manager called who wasn't helpful at all. it was a 1 night stay, and we had waited 1.5hr outside so we missed our afternoon plans. the room was cold when we got in, I assume they forgot about us coming. (they said we should have been texted access code but it was manual key entry and check in?) we were offered a room with a hot tub and prosecco as apology (but didn't have swimwear) we declined. the room was nice but shower was also luke warm. absolutely not worth the money or stress caused.

Very nice place as described few issues once in the room the projector in the cinema room didn’t work the concierge couldn’t fix it so had to get management to get a different one which didn’t have a stand so was difficult to get the positioning correct on the screen this took over 2 hours to sort once both staff members left I sorted my self as best I could on the airb&b checking in description it says you have to give a £100 security deposit the concierge too £150 without telling me that I had to check my bank to find that out leaving me with less funds for my anniversary with my partner than I would have liked. All in all a decent trip but paying £200 for one night id expect abit more organisation, However I would return in future as it was nice and the people were friendly

Brilliant location and very welcoming staff. We stayed with two dogs and they loved it! We received a complimentary cheeseboard too, which was a lovely touch.

Wonderful hideaway from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The bedroom was epic and the sitting room/ home cinema was fabulous - the only (minor) letdown was the sound in the home cinema room came from the projector (I was expecting iMax awesomeness). A little on the pricey side but was very special. Thanks for being wonderful hosts.
