Deceptive Host, Refused Check-in with False G20 Security Claim, Strongly Discourage. I recently booked a stay at Ubaid property through Airbnb, and I want to share my extremely negative experience to prevent others from going through the same ordeal. the host provided smart and evasive answers to my inquiries, which left me feeling uncertain about the booking.This host's deceptive behavior and refusal to check me in were completely unacceptable. Upon traveling at the property, I was shocked when the host abruptly refused to allow me to check in, citing an alleged G20 security concern. However, I stayed in a nearby area during the same dates 11-14 may and found no evidence or indications of any security issues related to the G20 event. It became apparent that the host's claim was nothing but a blatant lie. I later discovered that the host had booked the property for someone else Unfortunately, this host failed to uphold even the most basic standards of honesty and integrity.

We had an amazing stay at the place. There were some initial miscommunication but Ubaid handled them very well and ensured that we had a good stay. This property is quite far from the city hence transport is required to get to city. The place and the neighboring places very peaceful and quiet. Amazing place for complete relaxation. Got a beautiful garden and the owner is very helpful and accommodating. Had minor challenges with the check in, like the room was not ready due to miscommunication and since it was a Friday the staff had gone for prayers etc. Hot water which was a necessity was not available 24 hours due to frequent power cuts. Else, everything was great. I would definitely want to stay there if we visit Srinagar again. Thanks Ubaid for the great hospitality and accommodating our never-ending demands and keep up the good work.

My aunt and I stayed at Country Hill Villa for 3 nights and it was an ABSOLUTE pleasure. The pictures don't do justice to how gorgeous and pristine the mansion actually is. They have a beautiful premises with apple orchards all around and the house itself, is very very clean and pretty. The host, Rafiq, is very friendly and warm. He was extremely helpful to us and even drove my aunt at 830pm in the night to arrange a bday cake for me by 12am! He gave us amazing local recommendations and guided our driver on how to reach them. Rafiq and his friend Gulam also made extremely tasty traditional Kashmiri vegetarian food for us on two nights. The dinner was made with love and we relished every bite of it! I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful stay with beautiful surroundings. You can see the gorgeous mountains right from your window. :)

Hospitality at its best ,Good food.Booked a room with balcony and was lucky enough to witness snow cladded mountains from the balcony. The staff was warm and humble always.This is one the best villa's I have visted in a along time.Perfect place to relax and get away from the busy life .If you are looking for a place with excellent panaromic views of mountains all around this should be in your bucket list.This is one of the most elegant and breathtaking properties u can ever come across or dream to be a guest at !!!!!!!!
