Michel is a lovely host, making us feel very welcome and comfortable in the house. He made regular recommendations and was very responsive. The house is quaintly decorated with a lot of Michel’s own fascinating memorabilia. It is halfway up a hill, be prepared for the long winding drive up and several flights of stairs to get to the house from the parking spot for the car. But the view is priceless and the many outdoor spaces (roof terrace, dining area and pool area) allow you to really enjoy it fully. The bedrooms were spacious, with 3 doubles and one kids’ room with bunk beds sleeping 4. The kitchen was very well equipped. Two things to be aware of are the low water pressure (due no doubt to the altitude) and the presence of many small insects (mostly harmless but nevertheless unnerving if you aren’t used to that) that seek refuge in the house. Nothing to be done about it as the house is really in the middle of nature. Loads to do in the surrounding area but you absolutely need a car

Michel war wirklich ein sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Wir haben uns in dem schöneren Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Von der Unterkunft aus kann man gut Wandern gehen und ein sehr leckeres Restaurant ist auch in der Nähe. Vielen Dank!

Bellissima villa sul lago maggiore. Ho alloggiato insieme ad altre 9 persone per una settimana nella casa e siamo stati comodi, le camere sono accoglienti, la cucina ha tutto il necessario e i bagni sono spaziosi. Soprattutto gli spazi esterni sono molto grandi, con 2 terrazze, 1 terrazzino e un cortile con piscina è la casa ideale per una vacanza estiva, ma permette anche di godersi la magnifica vista in inverno. La casa si trova in un oasi di pace a pochi minuti d’auto dai paesini sulle rive del lago, ma anche da quelli in montagna il che permette di fare passeggiata sul lungolago come anche escursioni tra la natura incontaminata. L’host oltre ad essere gentile e disponibilissimo sia prima che durante l’alloggio è anche molto flessibile con gli orari di check in e check out, inoltre ci ha permesso di divertirci e trascorrere un bellissimo capodanno.

Eine wunderbare, geräumige Villa mit exzellenter Aussicht auf den Lago Maggiore und Cannero. Der Pool bietet eine gute Gelegenheit zur Abkühlung und zum Sonnen.

Michel is very friendly and responsive. The location is great, and I can highly recommend his villa, especially for a holiday with children.
