Andrea and Rock are friendly and caring people. They treat their guests like family. I was traveling with some valuables, and they went out of their way to make sure I had a safe and convenient place to store them. Andrea was instrumental in helping me with my travel plans and was always on hand to answer questions before, during, and after my visit. This gave me peace of mind while traveling solo. The campsite was in a beautiful corner of the island and the camera did not do it justice. The shack was rustic, but the Wi-Fi was lightning-fast. I can’t wait to come back!

I LOVED IT. I was solo backpacking around the island. I found a listing of a campsight and decided to message the host. The host message me back quit shortly. Well the best decision ever. I flew in from Amsterdam to Barbados. And really needed a place to feel at peace. The tent was nicely set up when I arrived. And the instruction of to get in the common area were clear. There's free parking space if needed.That's exactly what the cottage offered. I'f you are a scout or a backpacker this is the perfect place to stay. There's even a possibility to move your tent to different spots on the campsight. The wifi was great, good connection. There were enough outlets to charge you devices, fridge was clean and utilities were working. I rented a tent (airmatras was already set up inside, only needed to bring my bag)and stayed a few nights. Liked it so much I extended my stay. I formed a bond with the people from the village. Would definitely recommend.

Andrea var meget ubehagelig i sin kommunikation. Jeg følte mig chikaneret. Meget kværulerende, og meget ivrig for at fortælle uendelige ligegyldige regelsæt. Der var mus på køkkenbordet, hvilket de ikke troede på, eller reagerede på, græsset var ikke slået for teltslagning, hvilket de ikke mente var nødvendigt. Der var kun et forhæng ml toilet og køkken, til deling med uangivne fremmede. Der var kun 1 meget dårligt lille komfur. Ingen brænde til bålstedet, så vi opgav at lave mad, musene taget i betragtning. De smed en flink ung mand ud, fordi han ikke ville betale mere end først aftalt, truede ham med politi og var meget ubehagelige. Dukkede derefter vred op på adressen og ville have mig til at holde den unge mand væk. Måtte kontakte Airbnb for at få dem til at stoppe med at skrive ubehagelige beskedder. Det var virkelig ikke en god måde at bruge sin ferie på. En stor stjerne dog til de lokale, som var utroligt imødekommende, og gjorde vores ferie til en uforglemmelig oplevelse.

Andreas site is the perfect place to enjoy a very scenic part of Barbados. The huge plot of land allows for you to camp in whatever environment you want, and the tent provided was excellent for the duration of my stay. The surrounding food restaurant and bar are incredible, such friendly people inside and great food. Andrea was an incredible host, always responding straight away and helped with any problems I had, even gave food recommendations which I don’t regret following. This place is a must stay location in Barbados.

Andrea is the best host ever. She was not only always responsive and helpful but also went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stays,gave plenty of recommendations, and even helped us out getting a ride for the Sunday hike! The place is even more beautiful than the pictures. Peaceful, remote yet quite well connected, the cabin has all the basic needs for your stay. If you like the adventurous camping lifestyle, this place is for you.
