The place is in a very beautiful location and if you go with a friend it would be a very magical experience. Unfortunately my friend couldn’t make it so I went alone, there were no other guests staying there so I did feel quite isolated and uncomfortable. It sometimes felt like I was an intruder in someone’s else’s home as opposed to the guest stating there. On a positive note, Vinod was helpful in sharing ideas of things to do, bus times, scooter rental etc. Always very quick in communication. Unfortunately there were two things that made me more uncomfortable involving manure being placed all around the property on the plants which meant during the day the place smelt terrible, I was given no warning of this and it spoilt my day of relaxation. The second was my Ayurvedic consultation in which the doctor made some inappropriate comments and actions. I voiced this to Vinod, which didn’t go very well and made my stay even more uncomfortable. It’s a shame as the place is beautiful

Had the most incredible stay at Ayushkamy. It’s one of the most peaceful places I have ever visited. Surrounded by beautiful nature and the lake with the sound of the waves from over the wall. The food is so nourishing and delicious and Vino and all the Ayushkamy family are brilliant. We had an amazing boat ride through the mangrove tunnels too. Definitely hope to be back for longer.

This was among the best experiences I’ve had in a while. Mr. Vinod is deeply passionate about the space and what it means to him and to his guests. He was kind beyond expression, and did everything to make our stay worth it. He also makes for some great conversation. He offered that we stay over longer than our booking, as we didn’t have any plans after our check out time, till our train time. You’ll find his staff smiling at you whenever they see you and more than willing to help out with anything they can do. Don’t think twice if you’re looking for a pause, and few days of serenity. The views are out of the world. The dogs are lovely. The food is homely, made and served with love.

Everyone was very friendly here. And everything looked just like in the picture or even better … good food… good (Hatha) yoga sessions in the morning. Beautiful garden. Nice spacious huts. Absolutely worth the money. Unfortunately I’m really noise sensitive so I woke up in the early morning when the religious people from the other side of the river started chanting. … other guests did not have that problem.

We loved our stay at Ayushkamy, a place that exceeded our expectations! Incredibly kind and hospitable hosts, beautiful surroundings, and excellent accommodations. The food was excellent as well. We will definitely be visiting again next time we are in the area ❤️
