We had a wonderful stay at the cabin, even though the weather was less than ideal. The location is truly private and peaceful, with no visible (or audible) neighbors. This was exactly what we were looking for for a quiet getaway with our dogs.

This place is quiet and rustic. Emphasis on the rustic, so adjust your expectations accordingly. The area around the cabin is very quiet and remote so you'll definitely get the feeling of being away from everything. It's a very relaxing atmosphere, we really appreciated how it really felt like we were getting away, but we could still watch Bake Off. The area around Newfane is beautiful in the fall and we coincidentally happened to be there during a town craft festival, so that was a nice bonus. David was quick to respond to questions.

Nice location, just seemed to be missing some basics. The coffee pot looks like it is from 1980. Grass isn't mowed or maintained so doing a fire in the firepit outside wasn't really an option. They use paper towels pushed into the walls of the house to keep out wasps. No flooring upstairs, just a subfloor. For less than a $1000, it could be fixed up and really nice. Unfortunately, didn't feel it was worth the price.
