One of the most relaxing staycations we have had in Texas. The Ranch is a complete gem, with an amazingly friendly staff in Susan, Crystal, and Ethan. Of course the real stars of the show are the incredibly friendly and approachable animals. We were warmly welcomed upon check-in by the three resident beautiful Great Pyrenees Thor, Bear, and Dakota - and we knew immediately that our kids were going to have a blast. The Ranch House was perfect for our family of two adults, three teenagers, and a toddler. Extremely comfortable with a view to die for - Peacocks, Ducks, Horses, Llamas, Emus, Deer, Fowls, Pigs, and three baby goats to feed right at our doorstep. While the property is just off the the feeder road on I145 South, RockNRowdy Ranch exudes peace and calm. Yes you can hear the cars on the highway from the Ranch House, but it was not bothersome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the kiddos want to go back as soon as possible. Thank you Susan and Rowdy for letting us stay @ R&R!
Great ranch experience, good communication with the hosts. Crystal is very nice and Ethan is extremely patient with the kids. Animals are adorable. Would come back again.

Highly recommend, yet I want it as best kept secret! Grandkids from ages 6 to 14 with parents and grandparents had an authentic and fun ranch experience! Lodge was clean, spacious and perfect amenities! Ranch Dogs were absolutely the TOP AMENITY! Amazing opportunity to experience fear and reality of large animals up close and personal with guidance from young and experienced Foreman! Horseback/Pony riding was perfect for kids! We will be back!
My family really enjoyed staying on the ranch. Crystal and Ethan were very nice hosts. The weather didn’t always work out in our favor during our stay, so we didn’t do as many activities as we would have liked. My kids really enjoyed the pony rides and the morning feeding.

We were not yet ready to retire but both love to travel. Bruce has spent most of his working career as a consultant working offshore and traveling the world. Together have spent the past 9 years visiting over 20 different countries We also love the outdoors which shows in the exotic animals we have brought to our home. Sitting on the back porch while watching the animals graze, and a beautiful sunset is not only relaxing, but also brings such joy to all our friends and family who has spent many nights at the farm. Again, as We are not yet ready to retire, we have decided to share our farm for those who love a rustic setting with beautiful views. We welcome you to the Rockn Rowdy Ranch.
