Coconest was a unique experience but it certainly looked better in pictures. I would say it is glamping rather than a water villa, so as long as you manage your expectations, it is rather enjoyable. One night is enough as there’s not much to do and the water doesn’t look that inviting. Wifi is patchy and we were not able to communicate with the hosts promptly. There is also no mobile signal. Lounging on the nets to view the sunset and star gaze was relaxing but it was not entirely private and tranquil as the coconest shares the same floating platform as campers in the tents. The space is too cramp for cooking so better to order food to be delivered or venture out to the nearby floating restaurants.

能夠以這樣的預算體驗到水上屋非常值得 設備也很齊全，不過因為入夜之後會有風浪，所以如果你會暈船則不太建議，（或是要吃暈船藥） 工作人員人都很好，很棒！

Had a lovely stay at the coconest. Her staff were lovely to deal with, responsive and accommodating. As long as you are aware of the fact you're going to be a little isolated and dependent on boat ferry's to get supplies or your other needs, you can really sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity. We loved being able to relax off the side of the coconest and not really see anyone else for most of the day except fisherman passing by on their boats. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We enjoyed the stay and location. Highlights of the stay, 1) The boat ride to the hotel is excellent and enjoyable. 2) The room is very adaptable. 3) The view at sunset is lovely. 4) The self-kitchen was kept up nicely, and we produced some delicious meals. 5) They arrange boat trips and various deals in the mangrove jungle. We picked the private mangrove forest ride, which was more affordable than the usual price and we really enjoyed it. Concerns and Issue faced on Ramadan Time. 1) They give bread and jam in place of breakfast; it's okay, and they told us ahead of time. We therefore made plans based on that. 2) The security person did not arrive until 10:00 pm, which made us feel a little uneasy and concerned about security. because it is quite dark, we are surrounded by water, and there are no lights. Other than, we enjoyed the stay and loved langkawi.
