This is a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Lots of wildlife to see and of course Foggy the dog who came to say good morning. Very clean and extremely well equipped. Both bedrooms were en-suite and at night it was cosy and warm, we really could not have chosen a better place to stay for a trip away with a friend to catch up over a few bottles of wine. A really interesting stay in the landing craft. Very clean, comfy beds and great to have 2 en-suite bathrooms. Carole was very communicative and helpful, and there were lots of lovely touches, such as a gift of Maldon Sea Salt, local beer, wine etc. Plenty of wildlife to spot from the patio- green woodpecker, foxes, egrets… several nice places to eat out a short walk up the hill. I booked this for a short family break and because it looked quirky. We were not disappointed as it was great! The craft has a real character to it and suited all our needs. Carole gave us a lovely reception and was on hand should we have any questions. Easy walking distance to town which has plenty of amenities. Pleasant local walks straight from the door.

Lovely wood floored boat with well -equipped kitchen and comfy level of heating throughout - a very peaceful location -end of garden but well screened by a beautiful old willow tree and the river wall.
