We stayed at Caleb’s place in April 2024. While the house met our needs of being accessible for our guest in a wheelchair and our 2 dogs, the home left much to be desired. We felt that the pictures were edited to not show the scuffed/dirty walls and we felt that the multiple air fresheners poorly masked a smoke smell. The home was uncomfortably dirty for us. While Caleb offered to send a cleaning crew, this was not a comfortable option for us due to our dogs being there. Caleb did not acknowledge the pictures we shared of dead bugs, cobwebs, dirty walls, etc in our Airbnb support request and stated that if he gave us a partial refund he would not make a profit. We also felt that Caleb pushed to resolve the issue over the phone rather than through the app/text for no paper trail. While Caleb remained respectful, we felt pressured to accept a cleaning fee refund (only $165 from a $1775 3-night stay) due to the vulnerability of being a guest.
