11 m² room in a 70 m² living house near the city of Lorient. Exceptional view on the Petite mer de Gâvres. Thanks to its location close to public transport, take advantage of the Festival Interceltique de Lorient, while benefiting from an remarkable natural environment. The party... and the calm right after :-) La Petite mer is a kitesurfing and windsurfing spot, and offers beautiful kayak or bike rides. Close to the fortified city of Port-Louis, at the entrance to the harbor of Lorient. Detached house with garden, facing west. The living rooms, including your bedroom, are upstairs. This accommodation cannot therefore be suitable for people with mobility difficulties. The entrance to your room is through the garage and the internal staircase. Bathroom and WC shared with the hostess. Please note: following a recent outage on my electrical network, the socket in the room no longer works. Nevertheless, so that you can still connect your devices, I provide an extension cord connected in an adjoining room, but it does not prevent your door from closing properly. By reserving the room, you agree to accept this inconvenience. You are about to rent a room at the inhabitant, in a true bed and breakfast spirit. It is therefore a house of life, with its advantages and disadvantages ;-) The house is clean and the bedroom completely renovated recently, but the common areas (stairway, bathroom and toilets) have not yet been refreshed. If you claim luxury services, my house will not suit you :-) On the other hand, if you'd like to benefit from the good advice of a local resident, if you want to enjoy a warm and attentive welcome, in an exceptional environment while offering easy and quick access to the city of Lorient, you've come to the right place!

J’ai passé un agréable séjour chez Betty, au calme et si ressourçant, avec cette vue magnifique sur la petite mer et la réserve naturelle. Un temps ensoleillé pendant ces quelques jours m’ont permise de me balader sur les sentiers côtiers, découvrir de nombreuses balades magnifiques et alentours ( port Louis, gâvres, locqmiquélic, île de Groix…) accessible à pieds, bus ou bateau. Beaucoup de documentations et de cartes mises à dispositions et de bons conseils de Betty. J’ai apprécié le bon petit déjeuner chaque jour :) Encore merci pour ton bel accueil et bienveillance ! Je recommande vivement ce logement à toute personne désirant se reposer et profiter de la nature environnante. J’étais ravie de ce séjour et j’y retournerai avec joie!

Bezauberndes Zimmer in einem Haus mit großartigem Ausblick. Es ist eine wunderschöne Gegend dort und Betty tut ihr Bestes, um deinen Aufenthalt so angenehm, wie möglich zu machen. Obwohl das Haus nicht groß ist, sind wir uns nicht in die Quere gekommen. Auf alle Fälle empfehlenswert!

Betty nous a accueilli dans une chambre très charmante, bien décorée, propre, avec une vue superbe. L'environnement autour est très paisible et propice à la balade. Nous recommandons ce logement.

Très bon séjour chez Betty, tout était parfait et conforme à la description. De plus Betty a des supers restaurants à recommander (on a adoré la crêperie à Plouhinec, merci !)

Très bon accueil, Betty est très souriante et surtout disponible et arrangeante.Ses conseils pour le festival Interceltique nous ont bien aidés. La chambre est décorée avec goût, le lit est impeccable. Pour la superbe vue, Ben va falloir vous déplacer et voir par vous même 😀. Merci encore à Betty et à ses Post-it (elle comprendra :⁠-⁠)

** Quiet residential area of a town on the banks of the Petite mer de Gâvres, a Natura 2000 protected natural site.
** The house is 500 meters from the village and its shops.
** The ocean 8 km away, with the sublime beach between Gâvres and the Barre d'Étel, which is 12 km long! This is the longest dune cord in Brittany.
** Port-Louis and Locmiquélic at 5 km, the peninsula of Gâvres at 12 km (also accessible by boat-bus via Port-Louis), the Ria and the Barre d'Étel, the magnificent village of Saint-Cado at 10 km, Quiberon 30 km (access to Belle-Ile).
** Amenities in the village: tourist information point, 2 bakeries, Biocoop supermarket, 2 tobacco bars, 1 restaurant, 1 pizzeria, crepes to take away, souvenir shop, 2 pharmacies, medical center, cash machine, food-truck Sunday evening (delicious burgers!).
Activities :
** The Gâvres peninsula is an important spot for boardsports, very complete. It is suitable for both beginners and experts in these sports: kite-surfing, windsurfing, surfing, body-boarding, stand-up paddleboarding.
** Walks around Kerner Island or on the coastal path of the small sea of Gâvres.
** Observation of seabirds and migratory birds (site of European interest).
** Kayak (possibility to rent one or two).
** Fishing on foot.
** Swimming (9 small beaches over 5 km, between Riantec and Port-Louis!).
Bicycle (possibility to rent one in Port-Louis, 5 km away).
** Visit of Port-Louis, citadel city, India Company museum, restaurants, summer night market (Tuesday), designer shops...
** Sailing at the nautical center of Port-Louis or at Gâvres.
** Sailboat cruise departing from Port-Louis or Locmiquélic.
** Ballads on the port and the coast of Locmiquélic.
** Walks and hikes on the Blavet and Scorff rivers approx. 20km.
** Transport by boat to the Hennebont market (in season) from Port-Louis or Lorient. This market is an institution in the region with up to 300 vendors in the summer!
** Access to the city center of Lorient in 30 mins max (car or public transport).

Je suis installée dans le Morbihan depuis une quinzaine d'années, et je profite chaque jour de mon petit coin de Bretagne sud ! Cela fait longtemps que je rêve d’accueillir des voyageurs dans une jolie chambre d'hôte, je suis donc ravie de pouvoir enfin le faire en ouvrant ma maison cette année :-D J'aime la musique, que je pratique (promis, je ne jouerai pas pendant votre séjour !), le cinéma, les documentaires, les BD, les actualités, les ballades, la nature, la beauté ! Je suis plutôt discrète mais ouverte à la discussion si l'occasion se présente. À bientôt j'espère !
