We spent a great week in Jael and Danny’s beautiful home. It’s spacious and beautifully decorated and we loved the view and the pretty garden. Holmfirth has a lovely mix of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars so it’s a good place to have a relaxing week away. I’m sure we will be back when visiting friends and family.

Wonderful 4 day stay at Jael’s. It’s a cliche but the photos really do not do this place justice. The house was immaculate and offered the perfect balance of decoration and character without the clutter of another family’s life. It had everything we needed and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The beds were also extremely comfy. The location was great and we had some idyllic drives across the Peak District (just an hour away) as well as through the Penines. It was also convenient for a couple of train trips from Huddersfield to Manchester (specifically Old Trafford!) We weren’t there long enough to spend much time in Holmfirth itself but it was picture postcard perfect with all the amenities you might need. Lastly I can’t go without mentioning the interior design. The art, the plants, the furniture…I came home brimming with inspiration. Thank you. We hope to be back again!

We had a lovely week in this beautiful and interesting home, full of plants, books and quirky artefacts. It was well equipped and extremely comfortable and very spacious for 6. It had a lovely communal kitchen, lounge and a garden area which is decked and lawned with lovely views of the countryside. It is ideally situated a short walk into Holmfirth and a short drive to places of interest. We would highly recommend Jael’s house and would use it again.

Jael’s home in Holmfirth was perfect for our family Christmas stay in Yorkshire. Communication was super quick and helpful, check-in/out was very easy, and the actual home was perfect. The beds were really comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the sitting room was super cosy. Best of all, the house is not far from Holmfirth centre and is a quick drive from many scenic walks and attractions. My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Jael’s and felt right at home the entire time. I highly recommend this listing for Holmfirth to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Jael was a great host , who made everything from booking to check out really easy . Her property is beautiful and in a great location within easy reach of the village shops and restaurants and lots of nice things to do both on foot and by car .
