This house was perfect! It was spotless on arrival and check-in was simple. It felt extremely spacious and the rooms were all comfy and decorated very nicely. The kitchen was well equipped making cooking for all 8 of us easy. The location in St Merryn is perfect for walking to local pubs and getting to all of the seven bays. Loads of space to dry wetsuits and we really enjoyed all of the board games that were there on the rainier days. 100% recommend this booking.

St Merryn boasts a medieval church various shops, cafes, pubs (The Farmers Arms Pub, The Cornish Arms - owned by Rick Stein, Raffertys wine and dining and as well as a Chinese takeaway and Fish & Chips (as well as famous Barnecutts Pasties!) and grocery and surf shops.
Padstow is a picturesque working fishing port located on the North Cornish Coast offering a variety of shops and amenities as well as water sport activities. The surrounding area has been designated an area of outstanding natural beauty with several sandy beaches being within two to four miles.
For golfing enthusiasts the championship golf course at Trevose is four miles distant, the former market town of Wadebridge is within 7 miles and offers more extensive shopping facilities.
All types of water sports are available on the River Camel, water skiing, windsurfing, and sailing, prove to be very popular in both summer and winter. The famous surfing beaches of Newquay, Polzeath and Constantine Bay are only a short drive away. The championship links golf courses of Trevose and St Enodoc are within 5 & 9 miles respectively.
Newquay Airport which offers regular flights to the capital is within approximately 10 miles. and offers a number of national and international flights, with flights from London Gatwick to Newquay taking under one hour.
Connections are good with the A30 dual carriageway at Bodmin approx. 12 miles away which provides access to the national motorway network at Exeter. There is a railway station at Bodmin Parkway which links directly to London Paddington.
