Hello, my name is Raymond and I am the owner and operator of The Silver Lining Inn and Motel Limited. Located on the Sunset-Side of Cape Breton Island, along the World-Famous Cabot Trail, The Silver Lining Inn and Motel offers accommodations to travelers and visitors in the traditional fishing community of Cheticamp, Nova Scotia - Canada. The Inn, dating back to the late 1800’s, features a coffered ceiling in the reception area, transoms over the upstairs doors and authentic door and window trims not to mention the original door bell on the front entrance. The house’s foundation was built with rocks that were carried over the harbour on the ice from Cheticamp Island, the same rocks used to build the village’s church, Église Saint Pierre. During the 2018 renovations, maintaining the house's historic charm was never a question. We also offer accommodations in our newly developed motel strip located behind the Inn. Rooms, although smaller, offer the same charm and taste as our suites located within the Inn. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions!
