For those wishing to explore Reykjavík, while seeking proximity to a Bus station for excursions beyond the capital, this is the ideal place. It is stocked with all the essentials one needs. Above all Jonas is very accommodating and helpful for some of us visiting Iceland for the first time. His suggestions/recommendations on places to see and eat were very helpful. The comfortable stay at this Airbnb was largely why my 2 week vacation was so fulfilling.

Good location: * 20 mins walk to the city center and near bus station 13. * 2-3 minutes away from a park where I could run. * right next to a small groceries shop that is open >13 hours/day. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need and it's clean. Jonas even left some small food/drinks. He also gave me toilet paper, dishwasher tabs as soon as I mentioned that there aren't any left. He was very responsive throughout the stay and answered all my questions. Check-in was great, Jonas drove me from the airport buss drop-off and the checkout was simple. The apartment had some problems but not deal breakers: * Bathroom light sensor is annoying / stops fast and often doesn't find you even if you tap on the chandelier. * Had a problem with the hot water valve, thus wetting / heating the whole apartment. Jonas was quick, responsive and we fixed it. * Some plugs get wet and don't work for hours after a shower, from the humidity. Good value overall and a great host.

Second time I've stayed here so that's a pretty good recommendation and my comments from a year ago still stand. Jonas very kindly checked when I was arriving and picked me up from the bus station. Everything went seamlessly and I look forward to returning again.

This cozy place of Jonas surpassed our expectations. The entire place had a delightful touch, and he was kind enough to leave chocolates and snacks for us. The kitchen was stocked with essentials, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. His collection of art and books related to Iceland added a unique touch to our stay. The private entrance was a plus, allowing us to come and go as we pleased. Jonas was respectful of our privacy but always available when needed. Communication was seamless! Jonas was responsive and considerate, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. We instantly felt at home. Will love to come back again!

Jonas’ place is well located just the other side of a lovely park which you walk through to the city centre.. The no 13 bus drops off right outside and takes you all the way into the mix if you’re coming back late! I often put 5 star for cleanliness, but if I could give this a 6 I would! It was spotless! Lots of amenities but by far the best bit was the heated floor which was a real treat after a long day exploring in sub zero! Jonas’ place is a real find, big recommendation!
