This place does look like the photos and that’s it. There were dirty dishes left behind and dirty knives. The coffee maker was broken an they had old dried up coffee there an when I did tell her she did have a replacement coffee maker sent but with Kcups which does not work with the replacement coffee maker. I tried to explain it to her but she did not understand which was frustrating on my end. My family was not happy about the cleanliness of the place an that we had to go and buy things for our stay that was suppose to be provided. The response time was not in a timely manner until my last day when we were checking out. Also there is no place to hang your towels. The living room ac did not work but the room acs did. This is not a place to stay if u are going to a wedding or fancy party. There are also traps everywhere that had my kids on edge the entire time.

These are few recommendations that would make the place better. The place would have been great if there was a dining table. The little kitchen table doesn't allow 5 people to eat comfortably. There was only one towel provided per person for the entire 5 days. The living room was so hot because there was no air conditioning unit and the little fan did little to alleviate the heat.

Very clean and comfortable. There are some steep stairs to get to the apartment on 2nd floor.

Disclosure: we had to leave the place within an evening to attend to a medical emergency, & hence the review is based on 1 evening that we spent there. The listing mentions street parking, but actually it was so difficult to find the parking, and that too on a weekday. After we somehow managed to park our car, we had at least 2–3 groups of people pass/stand near the car in a suspicious way (we could see from the window) and were really scared that it was being chosen for a possible pickup/theft. The house actually falls in a neighbourhood called Jamaica, Queens - which is actually the 6th most dangerous place in NY - this was conveniently not mentioned anywhere in the listing by the host. There is also no close subway, and it was a challenge to find a convenience store nearby. Absolutely not recommended for family or people travelling alone.
