The cabin was just beautiful and very clean with a rustic charm. The kitchen was stocked with basic dishes. The internet service froze frequently. The small decorative pond near the front door has enough water to attract lots of mosquitos awaiting to greet you at the end of the day. Also, ants emerged in the kitchen during day two of our stay. My primary reason for a low rating is the host’s lack of friendliness and cooperation. I initially asked if I may have her contact number a day or two prior to check-in because I’m unable to access Airbnb’s app due to disability. She refused to provide it until Airbnb intervened. I then asked for check-in information three days prior to our stay for the same reason and Michelle refused to provide it due to security. It turned out that her entry code for a customer is the last four digits of the customer’s cell phone number, so there was no security risk here. Michelle’s unwillingness to work with me caused much stress.

The cabin was very clean and well decorated. It was in a very peaceful quiet area. Also about a 10-15 min drive to lake George and to the town. I would definitely recommend this cabin!

The place itself was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Communication and interaction with Michele was frustrating and slow. I needed to know if wheelchair could maneuver through doorways and into the bathroom and it took over a month and several check ins for Michele to get back to me with measurements despite communicating she'd get right back to me each time. It was just days before the reservation and past the time of getting a refund that she finally responded with a curt response. Check in is at 3pm. We arrived just before ~2:55 and attempted to use the keyless entry with code. Without knowing we had to wait until precisely 3pm, the keypad locked and we had no way of communicating to Michele or knowing what was going on because we had no cell service. We had to drive into town to get cell service wasting the first 30 minutes of our rental time. Overall the place is highly recommended but communication was lackluster.

It was a peaceful, quaint, relaxing getaway. I was able to really enjoy my time and just escape the normal 9-5 life. 5/5 would recommend to anyone and absolutely would stay again!
