Very responsive host. Clear instructions for accessing the apartment. Convenient location and nearby free street parking. Lots of steep steps back from town, so great for walking off all the delicious Italian food!

I will start by saying if mobility is a non-issue do not overlook this Airbnb. It is an amazing location and the 299 steps aren't challenging. If you are driving or taking a cab ask to be dropped off at the top of the stairs and you can easily walk down about 50 steps with your luggage. Unit is perfect for a stay in La Spezia, clean and functional. Emanuele is an absolutely amazing host! He was incredibly responsive and helpful. My rental car had a flat tire the morning I was leaving and he came right over with a pump and pumped up my tire, also called the car rental place for me and set up a trade in to switch my car and offered to drive me there if the car couldn't drive. He made a stressful situation easy to handle and I couldn't thank him enough. Thank you so much again Emanuele!
