The Fisherman's retreat is een fijne hut om enkele dagen te verblijven. Het is ietwat gedateerd, maar voorzien van alles om met onze twee kinderen een prima tijd te hebben. De omgeving is erg mooi, en er is voor een paar dagen genoeg te doen! De communicatie met Julie verliep prima.

The fisherman’s retreat was a fantastic place to stay while in Fort William! It was rustic and cozy and had everything we needed. Plus it was in beautiful surroundings. Thanks so much Julie!

My friend and I used Fisherman's Retreat as a base for walking/skiing around Ben Nevis and Aonach Mor. Torlundy is perfectly placed for that. The cabin was clean and well presented, everything worked as it should. We had no problems with our stay so had no reason to have contact with Julie, but I have no doubt she would have been helpful if needed. Overall, I would happily stay there again; maybe next year?

Great location - peaceful surrounds but very close to amenities such as shops, restaurants, attractions etc. Cosy, comfortable beds and dog-friendly. Log burning stove a welcome source of heat when the temperature went down.

Julie was a great host and was very understanding. Was an amazing help when me and my partner arrived later to the location and was responsive throughout our trip. 10/10 host.
