Test your swing on the private pond target range! Water is in play, land is out of bounds. Aim at the 4 floating targets - 60, 115, 190 & 225 yards out on the pond. We will provide 300 floating golf balls. We have goats, chickens and ducks that often roam freely about. You're welcome to feed! Perfect location for company/ personal retreat, golf trip, tournament stay, and family gatherings! Hand-crafted fine furniture, exposed wood beams, gourmet kitchen, granite counter tops, vaulted ceilings throughout, 2 refrigerators, commercial ice-maker, drip coffee pot, 2 Keurigs, washer and dryer, Roku TV, Wifi, wet bar, gas grill, and picnic/fire pit island. James is the man! What a gem!!
The place was just as described. We ready enjoyed the chickens and lake. I’d stay again.
I only wish we had more time. Nothing short of an oasis. Highly, highly recommend if you want to get off the grid but still be near town.
We can’t say enough about the host, James. He was actively attentive and went above and beyond to provide anything we requested. We loved the surrounding property, the peaceful solitude and the unique home setting for our sons wedding. Our small group of family and friends truly enjoyed the location and fun activities of corn hole, golf and fire pit. The screen porch was a perfect place to relax. The guest truly enjoyed the friendly chickens and even goats that James brought to us upon request. He certainly aided in creating a beautiful and memorable weekend for all of us. Thank you James!!
James (Joey) was extremely accommodating. I stayed on his property with a small group. James went out of his way to educate us on horticulture, farming, fishing and anything else we asked of him. He was never in our way and mostly out of site unless we requested his expertise. The property is absolutely gorgeous. Though the town of Pinehurst is only five minutes away, you feel as though you are in the middle of nowhere.
