Brigitte's place was a really lovely stay for us! We were visiting LA and Channel Islands NP, so it was a good location for us to get to both spots with very little trouble. Brigitte was extremely communicative, kind, understanding, and flexible when it came to the check in. At first we planned to arrive early, but we had a little mishap that led to us arriving late. She was so patient with the updates and changes and made sure we could still get into the property even though it was after dark. We had 4 adults and 1 dog and the couch was super comfortable to sleep on and it's large enough that you can space 2-3 people out. The bedroom was really spacious and the bed was huge - one warning the mattress is very firm, just something to be aware of! The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom and shower were well sized. There is a pup also on the property, they were the SWEETEST and liked to follow us around asking for belly rubs. We also loved the fruit trees and the entire property!

The day before our stay I got really sick. Driving to the house I wanted nothing but a place to relax. Once I notified Brigitte, she came over with some great hot citrus tea that quickly put me back in the game. She also made me some fresh squeezed Orange juice and some cough drops. The fact that she took it upon herself to make me feel better says a lot about her and her husband. The dog Badger was a doll. She was so friendly and kept us company at times. My wife and I were able to go out a few times for food but most of the weekend was spent on the comfortable couch. We had a pleasant time spending it in a quiet scenic place. It’s a must book.

Our time at Brigitte’s place was perfect for our weekend at the Channel Islands national park and visiting Ventura. It was quiet, peaceful, and comfortable. The hosts were super communicative and flexible with a late check in. The guesthouse is as described and has everything you need. It’s spacious and comfortable. Their dog Badger is super sweet! The location was a quick drive from everywhere we needed to go. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area!

Not only was the place spotless, and perfect when we arrived, but the surroundings were super quiet and peaceful. The bed was crazy comfy, and that closet…omg I’d love to have something like that at home! They came by to say hi and make sure we were settled which was a sweet bonus. I can’t wait to stay here again!

A very peaceful, beautiful property. The guest house was very cozy and comfortable! Brigitte and Johnny were super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Even their dogs were very friendly! Would love to stay here again.
