We loved our stay. We had 2 families who stayed for Spring Break with 2 - 10 year old girls and a 7 year old boy. The space was perfect and the kids loved playing outside. The cabin was perfect for relaxing and everyone had enough space to spread out for downtime. Downtown Blue Ridge was cute with lots of restaurants but make note of days closed and need for reservations. The bottom of the mountain had trailheads right there so that was convenient. The weather was great but chilly so outdoor activities were a little limited. The outdoor porch with fireplace was a huge win. The cabin was exactly as advertised, very well stocked with everything necessary and all the beds were comfortable. Ed was an incredible host. Wonderful instructions and recommendations were provided. Definitely follow the directions he sends. We have an AWD Toyota Highlander and it made the drive up the mountain just fine. Would recommend booking this cabin with Ed.

There really isn’t anything negative I could say about this beautiful home! We have visited other mountain towns in the past and Blue Ridge quickly became our favorite mountain town. Ed’s home is stunning. It’s beautifully designed and decorated. The views are spectacular. The home was SUPER clean. It felt brand new. We enjoyed all of the fireplaces/pits, the comfortable rocking chairs and other patio furniture, being able to start a hike right from the backyard, driving in to the downtown area for some of the best food we have ever eaten. We ate at Harvest on Main, Chester’s (twice), and Grace steakhouse. Didn’t eat a bad thing. Grace is a do not miss kind of restaurant though!! We will definitely be coming back and booking Ed’s house. It was fabulous!!

We had been on the road for about 5 days prior and didn't have a computer and didn't see the information Ed sent. It was a little difficult locating the property. We were about to give up then checked the phone and Ed had mentioned specific instructions to locate the home. We found it with no problems. We loved the cabin and the view! The road was steep and somewhat scary being up on the top of the mountain but after the first time driving it was fine. I would highly recommend this property, just not in snowy weather. Maybe not everyone would feel that way though:). Ed was very informative and proactive. He helped our vacation to be the best. Thank you Ed for making our stay perfect!

Absolutely amazing place. We had everything essential provided by Ed, it was very comfortable and definitely luxurious. Highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys hiking and wildlife adventures. Ed you were a wonderful host, thank you for the accommodation!

Came up with my close friends to celebrate my birthday - we had the most relaxing and wonderful stay. Ed was so helpful with recommendations, proactive with communication, and the space was so lovely and homey. We will definitely be back!
