Great place for a weekend getaway

Had a great time! Home was clean and organized. Instructions were clear and we had no issues getting there. There are several different ways to make it up the mountain including a paved road and gravel road. Loved the quiet, peaceful neighborhood and beautiful views. Saw so many deer multiple times a day! Enjoyed sitting on the porch and relaxing in the hot tub. Would love to come back again.

The host was very friendly and responsive most of our stay. The place has a cute outdoor hot tub area but it is very close to the road and not very private as the hot tub can be seen from passers by. With that being said the home is off of a one lane gravel road so the only people that pass by are neighbors. The back patio was adorable with the hammock and the overhang looking at the forest. The house is very dated which is reflected in the pictures. The shower would not drain properly during my stay and there was graffiti carved on one of the bed posts. The host did miss my texts regarding this for the first day but then we he saw them on my last day he apologized and said he was not aware and would be addressing the issue. There was also a police situation with the neighbors next door which was a little bit alarming, I know that was no fault of the host. The gravel road to get there at night was a little steep for me. Besides the hiccups it was a comfortable stay.
