First time in Bogotá and the warm reception at Carlos's place was more than I could have hoped for. La Macarena is optimally situated within the city, with easy access to the historical center as well as Chapinero, and the views from the apartment (located in an architectural treasure) are fantastic. It quickly became a habit to take my breakfast to go from one of the charming bakeries nearby to the multi-terraced Parque de la Independencia where I would spend the morning reading. This next time I am in Bogotá I already know where I will be looking to stay!

I really enjoyed staying in this amazing flat, the place is lovely. The guys living in the flat are very nice and I felt at home from the beginning. I loved sitting in the sun on the balcony with a view on the mountains. Perfect place to get to know Bogotá and to hang out.

Estar en este espacio ha sido una experiencia maravillosa. Desde el primer día me sentí en casa y acompañada. Hay un ambiente lleno de arte y creatividad hermoso. La limpieza es impecable. Y los roomate son seres humanos increíbles, dedicados, esforzados. Sin duda volvería muchísimas veces más.
