Welcome to the cozy and charming Kataluma Inn located in the heart of the pastoral Selle Valley. Well appointed cabin/cottage, removed from it all, immersed in natural beauty and abundant wildlife, with easy access to endless N. Idaho outdoor recreation. This quaint retreat is centrally located approx. 7 miles from downtown Sandpoint, the Schweitzer Mountain shuttle, as well as, public Lake Pend Oreille access. Pet friendly. We appreciate you taking a peek and hope to host you soon! Down the private driveway, you will find the welcoming covered porch, perfect for sipping a favorite drink and relaxing. Stepping inside, the craftsmanship and character of the space will make you feel as though you've stepped into the pages of a familiar book. You will find everything you need including a full kitchen, smart TV, dining area, full bathroom with in-floor heating, gas fireplace, BBQ, loft bedroom, fast WiFi, Etc. Outside, cozy up to the wood burning firepit to take in the starlit sky.

Was an awesome lil cozy cabin to escape for the weekend. Had WiFi so that was a great lil perk so you can still stay connected to the world. But also a quiet little getaway. The fire pit is a great touch as well. 10/10 would recommend

We ended up having to cancel our trip a few hours before we planned to arrive, and these folks were incredibly kind and understanding. Can't recommend enough.
awesome place. It was about 30 mins to schweitzer which is what we came for. I'd stay here again. The cookies they give you are amazing
This place was the perfect cabin in the woods we were looking for. The cabin cute and cozy — just the perfect size. The scenery was peaceful. I loved sitting by the fire watching the snow fall outside. Definitely a place to visit again!

Located in the heart of the Selle Valley north of Lake Pend Orielle. Less than 7 miles away from Sandpoint and the Schweitzer park and ride.
Sandpoint sits at the base of Schweitzer Mountain Resort which boasts of both winter and summer recreation. The town is located on the north shore of the breathtaking Lake Pend Orielle.
The Selle Valley is just Northeast of town, nestled between the Selkirk and Cabinet mountain ranges. The Pack River snakes through the valley and is perfect for fishing and rafting on hot summer days.
The cabin is less than 6 miles away from the Idaho Club, one of the states most prestigious golf courses.
There are several close by options for lake access, including City Beach and Oden Bay. Other local attractions include the Cedar Street Bridge, Sandpoint Farmer’s Market, The Festival (summer music festival), boating, hiking, mountain biking, road biking, huckleberry picking, a U-Pick blueberry farm just down the road, and a variety of seasonal farm-stands.
Sandpoint is just 45min from the Canadian border, 1hr from Coeur D’Alene, and 1 ½ hrs from the Spokane International Airport.
