Steve & his wife Sun are wonderful! Their room spacious, warm, homey feeling. Room & bathroom spotlessly clean. Thick fluffy towels. Aveda shampoo, hair conditioner, body & hand lotion, handsoap. Cleaning supplies and cloths. Microwave, electric kettle, coffee machine, coffee, cream capsules, sugar packets & also tea bags. Cups, bowls, plates, forks, spoons, knives. Free parking always available front of their building or opposite side of the street - a rarity in S.F. Steve always responded quickly to my questions & needs about the room & neighborhood. One night I had mistakenly locked my door from the inside when I left & I could not get back in. I called Steve & he immediately came & took the entire door off its hinge & then he put the door back! Only took about 15 minutes. Remember not to press the inside lock on doorknob when you leave the room! Both Steve& Sun were helpful & pleasant the entire time. I can highly recommend their place & and will definately return!

Came away from my stay thinking how nice it would be to have neighbors like Steve and Sun. They were not intrusive but there if you needed them. Had some lovely conversations with Sun, who was an attentive listener, had lots of information to share about restaurants and places to visit, and was a thoughtful, generous hostess. The room and bathroom were immaculate and the neighborhood totally quiet at night. The coffee was excellent and there was a large bookcase filled with cookbooks. If I'd had more time, I would have done a lot of recipe research.
