The Cottage was converted in 2020, the original building is a Victorian Smithy. The property has the charm of an old cottage but is modern, stylish and light and airy. It is detached and so private, with two gardens and a meadow, a stream runs through the gardens. It is delightful to spend time at the Old Forge. There is an area to barbecue or have a fire outside. For bookings during summer holidays there is a 'one week' minimum stay. There is off road parking at the Cottage

We have had a fantastic family stay! The cottage is very cosy and very well equipped. Our children loved the stream in the garden and we all enjoyed the fire pit too. David was very responsive. We would recommend this cottage to everyone

David was a great host - his communication was excellent, even letting us know that we could check in early if we wanted because nobody was checking out that day. That was really kind of him and super helpful. The Forge was really comfortable and well equipped with a gorgeously deep bath, which was a luxury to soak in! We would definitely like to come back again.

Great place and very well located for peace and quiet as well as beaches and countryside. The house itself was really well equipped and we felt at home there. Throughly recommended.
