Booked a room good for 4 and after paying in full, I was told the ROOM WAS NOT AVAILABLE anymore because of “Booking update issues” with Airbnb. I asked to confirm if I can be assured alternative rooms or get an immediate cancellation/refund so I can book with another hotel. It took another day to obtain assurance that they can reserve lodging but now with ADDITIONAL CHARGES. Was forced to go with their extra charge which was worth more than another night’s stay because options elsewhere were already unavailable due to their response time. They mentioned after that they do not update their listing with Airbnb—which begs the question why they keep the listing in the first place. It is unfortunate since the place is actually ok. Maybe next time they can be more considerate with their charges considering their issues with Airbnb.
