In the lap of the Himalayan foothills, surrounded by reserve forests on the bank of Khichdi River, lies Kyari a charming village perched on the periphery of Jim Corbett national park.The camp is situated 10 km from Ramnagar railway station and takes 45 minutes’ drive through a mottled forest road to reach the campsite.Being a great habitat for birds and elephants, Kyari has come up as the hottest destination for bird watchers and wild lifers.

Access: The Camp is located 10 kms east of Ramnagar, the last railhead for this part of the Kumaon Himalayan foothills. The most convenient RAIL connections to Camp from and to Delhi are: Overnight train *Delhi– Ramnagar: 15013 Ranikhet Express DEP Old Delhi Railway Station 2240 hrs; ARR Ramnagar Railway Station 0455 hrs. *Ramnagar- Delhi: 25014 Ranikhet Express DEP Ramnagar Railway Station 2145 hrs; ARR Old Delhi Railway Station 0400 hrs. Day train *Delhi– Ramnagar: 15035 Uttar SamparkKranti Express DEP Old Delhi Railway Station 1600 hrs; ARR Ramnagar Railway Station 2035 hrs. *Ramnagar- Delhi: 25036 Uttar SamparkKranti Express DEP Ramnagar Railway Station 0950 hrs; ARR Old Delhi Railway Station 1520 hrs. The III tier AC compartment is best on both trains, which operate on all days of the week. II tier is also available. Station transfers can be arranged on request. Camp is a drive of 260 kms from Delhi. The route goes past Hapur – Garhmukteshwar – Gajraula – Moradabad – Kashipur – Ramnagar – Kyari village (Camp Hornbill).
