Room Options 2 spacious master suites Natural Mystic and Queen Majesty both offer king size beds with en-suite bathrooms and walk-in rain showers with sweeping views of the mountains and river. Kush & Kaya are smaller bedrooms each with a double bed and a full-size shared bathroom located in between and accessible to both. Bathroom amenities also include a full outside bathroom for guests using the pool and garden area; there is also a pool shower located on the pool deck. The Kitchen is very spacious. There is a breakfast nook, coffee bar, floating island and pantry. It is fully equipped with a 5-burner gas stove, 27cubic ft fridge with ice-maker & filtered water system. It opens onto a Deck which overlooks the river. The Laundry Room is located adjacent to the kitchen, and is equipped with a washer, dryer and wash tub. The Dining Room is furnished with a large wooden dining table that seats 10. On one side it opens out onto a large wooden deck which overlooks the river, and on the other side it opens out to the pool deck. The main lounge is a relaxed and inviting space, great for gatherings, with seating options including a 10-seater sofa, floor cushions and Ottomans. It features an impressive stone fireplace and high wood panel wall. The Bamboo Room, offers a quiet chill spot, with easy chairs, parquet flooring and a high vaulted ceiling. The Pool is the outdoor entertainment zone – morning through night! The Garden is well-tended with lush tropical trees, plants and flowers. There are over 15 fruit trees, full-grown and saplings, (which we’ve labelled) including mango, banana, Seville orange as well as exotic fruits including naseberry and starapple. It’s also a bird watcher’s paradise, here you can spot many varieties of hummingbirds. There is a large Koi pond, gazebo and a picnic table, as well as river-side benches and hammock. You can venture down to the river and wade through and sit under one of the waterfalls. If you feel adventurous you can make your way down to Big Rock, a scenic spot up river. Riverhouse is located in Maryland in a quiet area neighbouring a few residential homes. Very private, there is no through road. If you venture up along the winding mountain road you will find fruit vendor stalls, local bars, roadside eateries and cafes (Blue Mountain coffee is world-renowned) including Irish Town Café, Café Bloom, EITS Café, The Gap, Café Blue, Crystal Edge Restaurant and Strawberry Hill. Further up are heritage and cultural sites including Holywell National Park, Heritage Gardens, the historic Newcastle Army Training Camp, as well as several coffee plantations. Hiking, biking, bird watching and horse riding can be arranged with local tour companies, you can even take the seven hour hiking trail to camp-out at the Blue Mountain Peak. Riverhouse is a fifteen-minute drive to the hustle and bustle of city life, where you will find supermarkets, shopping malls, medical facilities, nightlife, entertainment etc.
