This home was the perfect location for our visit with nice views of the water. Very easy communication & check in/check out, very clean and stocked with more than you could possibly need for your stay.

I was glad to find this off the beaten path place to stay for a private and relaxing getaway. This older home had been fixed up, was comfortable, well equipped, and had everything we needed. Sometimes I wanted to walk over and sit at the picnic tables by the water. I also enjoyed just relaxing on the sofa with my morning coffee and watching the ferry come and go. It was a very easy drive down to Kitty Hawk and up the island, if you want to do a little exploring. Also, Monica was quick to respond when we left something behind and went out of her way to send it to us.

We loved the charm of this old house. The back porch was a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful location on the Sound. Enjoyed listening to the birds.
