Martyn’s home is an architectural masterpiece. My family had an amazing time and were in constant awe of the design. Breathtaking views in every room, even with dreary weather the panoramic views of the bay and dramatic clouds gave a nice moody backdrop. The inclinator was a fun and novel way to get to the house. Clean, comfy, tastefully decorated with a well stocked pantry that actually felt like someone’s home. We enjoyed having breakfast at the house - eggs/milk in the fridge was a thoughtful touch. I really appreciated the detail that went into design - being able to admire the view in the reflective kitchen splashback while making my coffee, the balcony heaters which kept me warm while I was perusing the beautiful selection of books the home has - this place is the perfect balance of luxury and coziness ᵕ̈ Although the weather didn’t give us the chance to make use of the pool, it didn’t take away from the experience at all. Amazing views of Middle Harbour. Lots of space in the house and good amenities. House is accessed by an inclinator which takes about 3 mins to get down to the house so if you have a group of people then it can take some time getting everyone up and down. That being said, it’s a mini paradise

So this was a hard review to write as I am not a complainer but we had a a really disappointing stay here. The views from this place are awesome, the house is nice if a little tired in parts but the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms was a shock as I feel the ad is misleading on this. The worst part about our stay was the disruption of the construction on the house next door. We were not warned about this and had we been told we would definitely not have stayed here. It was noisy and the swimming pool was unusable when they were working on the inclinator as as well as the noise there were sparks flying towards the swimming pool which was dangerous and totally unacceptable. This was bad timing for us and frustrating for Martyn but we should have be told ahead of time as the work is ongoing. We messaged Martyn as it was happening and, once he had checked for himself,, he gave us a token financial gesture which was appreciated but sadly did not make up for a miserable stay

Outstanding! The place is even better than the pictures. Plenty of space and well equipped for a large family. Unbeatable views. Highly recommended :)
