PRICE INCLUDING DINNER AND BREAKFAST! Wadi Rum Star Valley is located in the heart of the protected area of Wadi Rum Desert. It is a family business run by me, Abdul, my brothers, cousins and friends. We are part of a Bedouin tribe and have been living here for centuries. We know and respect the desert and we would love to teach you more about it. Besides an overnight stay in the desert we offer Jeep tours, camel rides and hiking tours. Sleeping under the stars, like a true Bedouin, in our desert cave is an experience that you will remember for the rest of you live. This adventure takes you back in history, when Bedouins slept in these caves while there were crossing the desert. During the night our cave is the perfect spot for stargazing, listening to the complete silence of the desert and being amazed by the sight of the Milky Way. We will prepare a Bedouin dinner and breakfast for you. You can enjoy the food while learning more about traditional life from one of our Bedouin guides. To make the night as comfortable as possible, we will provide you with mattresses, pillows and warm blankets. After a night under the magical starry ceiling, you wake up to the rising sun casting the mountains of Wadi Rum.
Abdel was a very friendly host who happily accommodated our needs. Would 10/10 recommend a cave stay at Wadi Rum!
Wadi Rum is such a great place and sleeping in a cave was an absolute unique experience. The time with Abdelrahman was funny and we enjoyed very good food on our tour and in our camp. We have been provided with all the necessary equipment for the night in the cave and even had a guide staying with us for the night. Unfortunately the tour did not match our expectations as it was rather a short walk to a viewpoint and a jeep tour instead of a real hike in the mountains. Also, they tried to overcharge us on the tour (70 JD instead of 40 JD), so insist on the prices stated on their website! Moreover they tried to convince us to sleep in a tent instead of doing the night in a cave, due to the low temperatures. We were well prepared with warm clothes and we did not have cold at all. Later we heared that a friend of our host also did the night outside some days before us, which gave us the feeling that they just did not want to do the effort for us. So please just insist on your booking!

Hi, I'm Abdul. I'm living in Wadi Rum Desert in Jordan. We are part of a Bedouin tribe that is famous for it's hospitality and we and our ancestors have been living here for centuries. We tour across the desert with our guests in Jeeps, on camels and during active hikes and we let them stay overnight in our cave or traditional Bedouin camp to let them experience how it is to live like a Bedouin in Wadi Rum.
