Samuel and his family have such a beautiful home! The interior was beautifully curated and thoughtful for any guest. I admire the style, the hand crafted art work and LOVE plants. I’m from the city and my partner is a photographer so the view from the window was quite scenic and much appreciated. I personally enjoyed and got to relax in the lounging spaces: the hammock, the couch and the loft movie space. Samuel was kind and accommodating to requests. We enjoyed it so much that we booked an extra night. Stores, boutiques, restaurants and cafes are within a 15 min drive. I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to escape in Woodlawn Virginia! :)

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. There were a few issues, but Samuel was quick to respond. The tiny house was extremely clean, a must for me. The area was close to what we needed. This getaway was meant for unwinding, and it was accomplished during this stay, especially when lying on the deck on the comfy lounge chairs. The tiny house is super cute, but the loft, with its low ceilings is more ideal if you have small children. The water heater was having some issues. The water was warm enough to shower, but never got very hot. Samuel did attempt to remedy that. We had a few large black ant visitors, and Samuel was willing to get that taken care of right then and there, but it wasn’t that bad, and we opted to wait. The bed was comfy, but being king size, was a bit big for that tiny bedroom; a queen sized bed may be better suited for that space. Being memory foam, it sunk some in the middle and that made the sides come up, making it hard to get out of bed, but it was comfy! Nice stay!

Absolutely enjoyed the space! I was able to enjoy the time I spent with my partner and the peace and quiet! Beautiful place to relax and reconnect with self!
