My family of 5 stayed at José's apartment for a long weekend, and really appreciated the location with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, and easy access to other parts of Montreal via train (~8 minute walk to Mont Royal). The apartment itself is adequate for 5 to sleep, and is not a bad value for the price. However, the mattresses / sofa were of mixed comfort, and the sheets and extra quilt were not up to par in terms of cleanliness, likely not washed after last guests. Kitchen is well-equipped for eating, and we did not use it for cooking so I can't speak to that. The bathroom is small, and similarly didn't have a clean sparkle but was adequate. It is important to note that there is a step down to enter the bathroom, and then another step up right in front of the bathtub and toilet. This was ok for my crew, but it takes care to avoid missing a step. I could see this being challenging for taller or larger people to navigate safely, or anyone who is less nimble on their feet.

Great location. Great communication. Very clean and cosy. Great weekend away. Would definitely stay again.

J'ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour chez José ! L'appartement est idéalement placé aves des restaurants a proximités ainsi que le parc. L'appartement est très propre et super bien équipé ! J’espère pouvoir y retourner lors d'un prochain séjour :)

Jose was communicative, and made access for check-in and instructions for check-out really clear and easy. The kitchen is quite well equipped with lots of dishes and cutlery. I would recommend their place if you're hoping to spend lots of time out exploring Montreal, as the location and surrounding neighbourhoods are the biggest bonus for this bnb.
