Amazingly peaceful and private place to stay in southern Missouri. The house was large, spacious and with super comfortable beds. The decks were huge and an awesome place to hang out. You could read entire books here almost no noise or distractions, except for the birds. Everything was awesome.

What a refreshing experience this was. After many years of using Airbnb and trying to find nice, relaxing, peaceful, private, and remote locations, Betty's property delivers. We spent our spring break weekend at Betty's property, and it was everything we were looking for. The home is well equipped, private, and very, very quiet. We all very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. There are quite a few cameras, but it was everything we were looking for in our weekend away. Very dog friendly. Close enough to town that you don't feel like you're really roughing it, but remote enough you feel like you should be.

Betty was incredibly hard to work with and unprofessional. My family booked her place late at night, received the walk in code, and drove an hour out of our way to get there only for it to be locked and for her to be impossible to get ahold of. We ended up sleeping in our car, and when I requested a refund the following morning (5 separate times) she read all of my messages and didn’t respond, forcing me to get ahold of Airbnb support and have them ask her to refund us fully. Would not recommend booking with this host.

Bettys place was exactly what it says, very clean, very beautiful surroundings and as peaceful as they come. Would recommend this place to anybody visiting the area. Will definitely be back!!
