This home is amazing!! The photos only capture some of the magic of the backyard -- grassy section to play on; bocce court; gorgeous refreshing pool and hot tub; and numerous shady and sunny sitting areas. The outdoor kitchen is fabulous. Inside stayed nice and cool even with outdoor temps hitting the high 90s. The owner, manager, and grounds keeper could not have been more friendly and accommodating. This is a really special place.

Camp Chapman is a wonderful get-away!!! The pool and outdoor space is perfect and very functional. The country feel with the horses and chickens is a unique experience, and one that my 1-year-old liked very much in our morning routine. The kitchen and outdoor grill & smoker was awesome for my family gathering. Groceries from Costco and local/organic were easy-access. S'mores around the outdoor fire-place playing cards with the older kids after dinner was a highlight. We also spoiled ourselves with massages from Mishy (Lauren's recommendation) and had acclaimed local private Chef Matt come over one evening for a special meal. My mother had tears of joy how special that dinner and the whole experience was for us. We had such a good time at the house that we didn't bother with some of the day-trip excursions we planned in the area, although my brother and his kids enjoyed a quick trip to the coast and another to downtown Sonoma during our stay while we played in the pool and spa. The extra barn apartment space is recommended for larger groups to spread out if available. Overall, a perfect rustic escape from San Francisco for us, and my other family members from Chicago and Nashville. Everyone loved it!! Thank you Lauren & Joe, Lynn, and Joseph for your delightful hospitality!!!

Our stay was really great, people were friendly and helpful. Fresh eggs in the morning from the chickens were delicious!
